The NavyField Cup: April 17th, 2010 @ 2000UTC

Summary:

The top fleets in the NFNAFL Leagues, based on points, on all servers will meet once a year in a 32 fleet tournament of champions called the NavyField Cup. The winning fleet will be crowned the best fleet in NFNA and be awarded the actual NavyField Cup, engraved with the winning fleet name.

The event will take place in April on the Event Server also used for the GNGWC events. The server will be modified to the specifications outlined by the NFNAFL staff. You will require a new client to access the server and the download will be made available before the start date.

Team Selection:

Here is the NF Cup Point System which will determine who will play in the NF Cup come April.

10 Points to a season winner.
7 Points to the 2nd place team in a season.
5 Points to the 3rd place team in a season.
3 Points to the 4th place team in a season.
1 Point to the 5th-8th place teams in a season.

Total points will be calculated on April 1st of each year.

- The Top 4 fleets from Arizona, based on points, will compete for the NF Cup.
- The Top 3 fleets from Missouri, based on points, will compete for the NF Cup.
- The Top 3 fleets from New York, based on points, will compete for the NF Cup.
- The Top 3 fleets from Ushakov, based NFRU's selection process, will compete for the NF Cup.
- The Top 1 fleets from Nahimov, based NFRU's selection process, will compete for the NF Cup.
- The Top 2 fleets from Bismarck, based NFEU's selection process, will compete for the NF Cup.
- The Top 1 fleets from Hood, based NFEU's selection process, will compete for the NF Cup.
- The Top 1 fleets from Yamato, based NFEU's selection process, will compete for the NF Cup.
- The Top 3 fleets from Japan, based NF Japan's selection process, will compete for the NF Cup.
- The Top 3 fleets from Montana, based SDE Korea's selection process, will compete for the NF Cup.
- The Top 3 fleets from Kongo, based SDE Korea's selection process, will compete for the NF Cup.
- The Top 6 fleets from China, based NF China's selection process, will compete for the NF Cup.

Note: The number of fleets selected is based on league participation and will vary from year to year.

Rules:

1. Matches will take places on the Event Server. In area 19, same as the leagues.
2. All crews will be 115. All will have 4K ability and 100 vets.
3. Any ship configuration will be allowed, same as a normal server.
4. No limits on types of pilots or number of pilots on CVs.
5. Same ship limits as the leagues, with no Prem ships.
6. The same standard NFNAFL rules as the normal leagues apply.
